AIRFIELD CABLE ROUTE MARKER
Model Number: MACR-5000
When a cable is installed underground, the route plan is marked with a cable route marker. This not only helps to avoid cable damage in the future during installation and other developmental work, but it also proves useful when upgrading the system. The future diagnosis of any potential faults is another important reason to put the cable path marker. The RMB MACR-5000 is installed specifically in airfields where the primary circuit cable for airfield systems is laid and routed, typically on the fair weather strip or the sideways of taxiways and tarmacs. MACR is designed and manufactured utilizing a unique metal alloy that is protected by a tough paint finish that can withstand harsh weather conditions without fading or losing its distinctive RED color.
Over half of the length of the anchor is screwed into the ground. In other words, the plate level is 100 mm below the surface. Two screws are then used to attach the plate to the anchor. Additionally, the entire top can have custom lettering at an additional expense.
